Quick Fix For Worn Coil Shaft Bushings

For you guys who got the Platapus coil and its loose on the shaft and you can't get a washer in it. Simply put a few wraps of electrical tape as needed around it then use an ink pin to poke holes in the tape. Run the bolt thru it before you put it on the shaft, I had to turn the bolt with my fingers and screw it in and back out. When I put the coil on the shaft with a snug fit and ran the bolt thru both the shaft and coil I used a small wrench to gently turn it. May not be permanent but sure works great for the time being.

BUY NEW WASHERS !
They're a whole dollar for a pair !

Get a couple fiber washers from the hardware then use a sander to take them down to the thickness that just fits snug. Works great, only cost ten cents.

Sides, I can use my coil right now while I wait for the bushings you are sending me. Bad news, sorry to report, but my Platapus hasn't found any EAster eggs todate, anbody got a program for that?.:grin
