quick hunt with the ace + sniper net some old silver :ausflag:

had a few hours to kill today so i fired up the ACE250 + sniper combo i was hoping to sneak out a few old coins & the ACE didn't let me down :thumbup:.
after digging junk for 15-20 min i get a nice silver signal cut the plug & there in the bottom of the hole is a 1952 shilling :super: unfortunately i nicked the coin wile digging :ranting: all ways the good ones
after that i had a run on new $ with 4 $2 coins & 1 $1 coin coming to light :happy:a wile after that i get a bouncy iron silver signal i cut a plug & out pops a 1961 sixpence :clap: after that i got mostly junk till the end of my hunt when i found a cool old ink bottle with the cap still on.
i"v put a few in the hole pics & just outta the hole pics hope you all enjoy.

I visited an old park and an old school today and was hoping to find a silver coin or two too. Glad you got them instead. When I click on the pictures they show up but in the same small size.

sorry Chris :thumbdown: when i click on em i get a full screen size pic :shrug: my wife bought me a new camera so i"m not using hers all the time & i cant get the pics from my computer to go on the forum as there to big so i"m using a image service on the net. looks like i"ll have to keep playing with it to get it right.

It's surprising that the sixpence bounced around where it did. it should have hit like a gold coin. Speaking of which, are the best pictures of them I've seen on the forum yet. I downsize my photos through Picasa2. It's a free download from Microsoft. If you use it though, just remember that each time it comes up, it will ask you if you want to download it.Click on no, as it will keep duplicating it's whole program each time. From memory, Uncle Willy just puts his finds on his scanner and it's small enough to go strait on. I haven't tried it yet.
I see you got a few 1 and 2 cent pieces too.

pictures worked fine for me. as a matter of fact if you click on the picture a second time it gets twice as big. nice finds.
