rain, rain?

Sure...The coil is totally water proof..the wireless headphones?? I don't think they are..you best bet in the rain is to place the remote in a water proof case and keep it in your shirt pocket or mount it on the detector...

Great way to say water is no problem that video says it all

What about the WS5 head phones the full sized ones are they water proof just the same? the water proof case in my opinion keeps it clean and scratch free. This video just like the one above puts it through a little more testing, i dont think i could ever try this but its good to know that its built well...

WS5 phones are at least the same build quality as the WS4s - Have owned mine for almost a year in hunted plenty of times in the rain, and sloppy mud with no ill effects. The remote is the "least weatherproof" part of the setup, but there are many solutions to overcome this ranging from a thick Ziploc bag to an iPhone underwater case - the weather can't stop you then!
