Rain showers :detecting:

We've gotten a few scattered showers around the area the past couple of days. My ole hunting fields finally got a good shower yesterday morning, that drove me off the spot, and another little shot over night. I don't think that particular area had seen a drop of rain for close to two months. Did get a couple of hours swinging in this morning before another shower sent this old man scrambling to the car and calling it a wrap. No silver, or anything of consequence, the past couple of outings, but one field did give up a little clad, some Memorial cents and 6 wheats, so there should be a silver or two lurking out there somewhere. Hope you that need rain are getting some. Now get out there and find something. Me, I've gotta hang a door. Elton, it finally passed inspection. Phew!:) HH jim tn

Still waiting on some rain here.. had a small shower two days ago..but that didn't soften up anything.. One of the driest..and most 90 plus degree years we ever had.......
.........the clay base dirt we have is like a rock..

Jim we had a nice front come through last Sat. on the way to take the girls out to the swimming hole that ended up giving a 14k & sterling ring for my efforts. Would have been perfect if not for the slow speed fender bender it involved me in  everyone was alright but you just never like being placed in that position especially when you know you didnt do anything wrong other then being out driving in the first ten minutes of the rain.

But nonetheless it was a nice surprise on what was forcasted to be a 107

Ya, i noticed the 111 in L R yesterday. Really, all we've been getting rain wise are teasers. We need a good 24 hour soaker. And that wouldn't put much of a dent in the 16" rain deficit we've incurred so far for the year. Yup, gotta watch the other guy during those rain showers. Glad to hear everyone is alright.
