Yep...with that New F75 coming out looks like best be ordering a newer Kubota...My old one only has a 9 foot boom...won't be able to reach the finds the F75 can find! The old Kubota won't be able to keep up pace with that New Model T2...I mean New Fisher F75...

The Teknetics T2 is a new high-performance multi-purpose professional grade metal detector. It utilizes the latest advances in electronic technology, and its functional design represents the leading edge of the metal detector engineering art.At least it will represent that for about a month...Then it's a New Improved F75!

Read the interview at:http://www.tekneticst2.com/home.sstg
Click on Dave's picture at this website!

The best part of the interview with Dave Johnson or rather the one part I like best is the part were Dave gives us T2 owners the credit for all our reviews....
He says: (QUOTE)"The Best sales pitch for the T2 is what people who already own them are saying. Most of them also own other high-end units, so they are well informed and do not have much brand loyality. I could tell you what they are saying, but I might be biased!"

Man Dave: I'm loyal....very loyal, I guess he's loyal?
I'm biased too I guess for a non-loyal type guy! :detecting:"Sniff"

Remember this T2 was Dave Johnsons dream. I doubt that the F75 is half the machine the T2 is....Sometimes engineers decide we can do this nor that to improve sales on this item all we have to do is make this more stable by decreasing sensitivity or add the backlight, or whatever.

Sometimes technology out spells itself....Your T2 is everything it was supposed to be from the get go.Learn it and learn it wisely....The original T2 sales will drop off quickly with the F75 on the market. Is it a better machine....We'll see soon enough. In the mean time I'd hang on to that T2. I'm betting it'll be priceless soon enough. When production ceases it will be a hard to get "One of a kind!"

Bring it on F75 Fisher "Wantabe"....

Oh yea...ONE LAST THING

FOR SALE
T2 Rev 6 Model...............$2900.00 FIRM

read through that interview and the links ,the one thing that stands out to me anyway is the fact that the coil on the T2 is trademarked ,now does that mean in view of the fact that the F75 coils are not interchangeable with the T2 that this indeed is a completely different coil winding and in fact we may still end up with a better machine .anyone in the know got the answers to this

Well I just know if they'll interchange or not? Thats a great question...Reviews will be out after it hits the market and we'll have to get that question answered then.

Oh no.... now you got me thinking...If the T2 coil and the F75 Fisher Coil
do interchange I just wonder if Dave or first texas will be able to sue themselves for the Trade mark infringement?

hehehe

I have one of the new F75 coming when released as I just have to try one myself to see what they can do. I am told that the coils do not interchange by someone that was there at First Texas when they were announced.
I liked my T-2 when I had it and was going to get another one as i was forced to sell mine, but when the F75 were announced I figured they maybe be a improved version of the T-2 and thought why not try one and see for myself how well it would work.

Hi MattR, be carful flashing your coins someone may just take one and sell it on e-bay . have a nice day .:twodetecting:

first reviews...I hope some T2 guys try this out and post comparison reviews as well as test coil exchanges...

I'd say it is for sure and improved version of the Late T2. And althought I am being very playful with shots and daggers, I'm just playing with all the hype until I can order one myself to determine which great detector works best for the situations I hunt in!

I think you'll love the changes including the back light of the F75.

Any news on this?? is the F-75 coil a Biaxial or DD?? or is this the same thing?
