RARE CS Officers Spur Leech & Rigdon

At first I was not completely aware of how rare my find was, it is slowly sinking in........!
To quote David @ Dixie:
"it was made by Leech and Rigdon, aka: Memphis Novelty Works. And furthermore, it was a rare CS Officers model. He was stunned to say the least when I went on to tell him that is was much rarer a find than a CSA rectangular belt plate! It is in excellent dug condition with the iron rowel intact."

There's one on this site almost exactly like yours, except it's missing the rowel. Spur #7. Look at how much they're asking! And yours is nicer!

You will not believe this but I had a spur exactly like this one that I found about 12 years ago when I first started detecting. found it with a garrett cx3. Here is the bad news, it got lost while we were adding an addition to our house about 4 years ago. Damn the bad luck. yours is very special take care of it. smt57
