I finally got my scoop from pro detectors. It is the s/s scoop with 1/4" mesh, 9.5" wide fitted for a wooden handle. I have two questions.
1.) Want to add a Rare Earth Magnet to back of the scoop. I saw someone have a plastic coated (yellow colored) magnet in a picture. Would like to find a site where I could get a plastic coated magnet for the scoop. Will be hunting all saltwater. What size? From where? Is one enough?
2.) How long should I make the handle for the scoop. I bought a 60" wheelbarrow handle. Have 2 of them. I am 6'1" with long arms. Is over 48" overall better? Is longer better?
