thanks to dewcon4414 and lovepulltabs: good info--i forgot to mention in my post about the rattlers--but my problem is i do'nt reall need but one side -because a cocussion morter round ruined my right ear hearing while in korea. thanks to the chinese.since that time,i've always had problems with direction of sound,and if i hold the telephone to my right ear i hear absolutely nothing.sorry i did'nt add that in with the first post..........thanks fellas' ellis
