RE Automax V4 pin pointer ?

Hi I have an chance to buy an Automax V4 pin pointer for $70 (new) from someone who says it is an unwanted gift and wondering if they are a good pin pointer it will be used to compliment my new Ace 250
thanks in advance for any help on this
 
I use the Automax V4 and I love it. I have never had any problems with it. I also have the V2 and it also works great. Just to let you know I bought the V4(brand new never used) from a friend off of another forum for $20. That was a great find:thumbup: Brand new I think it's $149.00 so if the one your looking at is brand new $70 is a good deal. HAPPY HUNTING.
 
I would recommend to spend a little more money and get the new Garrette Pro Pointer. The Automax V4 is to big and a pain to carry around.

If it works good $70 ain't bad. I'd recommend the new Garrett PP but it's a bit more if money is an object. I've been swinging a beeper for 44 years and never used a pinpointer or thought I needed one but now I've become quite attached to the new Garrett PP and another one I use.
