RE Beach Time

Trying to get use to posting again {pictures} Took the aquastar on its first Beach outing today.

Very happy with the way it performed, Did manage a 10k kids ring and the silver?? bracelet.

Still have to get used to machine and figuer out best way to set it all up. Did dig a ton of iron ,Only hunted to knee deep as i was trying to learn best way to set up, Will go deeper at PM tide.

Do you have to tune machine down to go out in water or leave tuned High???

Thanks Lammi

Not certain what you mean by "tune down". Tune down what ??

I would try to keep it set at 10uS., and set the threshold to"just" hear the threshold audio.

As far as the power switch. Setting it on low will double the usage time between battery charges. I doubt that it would affect your in the water target results. One should do a test bed with various targets to confirm settings.

I would run the internal sensitivity as high as you can go, and run the SAT as slow as you can. You most likely will need the SAT set at least mid point, perhaps faster depending on mineralization of the sand. The internal receiver sensitivity having a setting of mid point is also a good starting position.

This is what quickly comes to mind.
