Finally getting the hang of my GTAx 1000. Been hunting an old churchyard. The original church was erected in 1832. The "new" church that replaced it was buit in 1857. Found: 1941 Walking Liberty Half, 1907 Barber Dime, 1917 Standing Liberty Quarter, 1857 Flying Eagle Cent, 1841 Large Cent and a 1854 Seated Liberty Quarter. The other misc stuff includes two rings. This is the first time I've tried to post photos of anything so can't guarantee it's going to happen. So here goes!

Nice haul!!! <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

Sure did and I've still got a lot of ground to cover. Haven't even scratched the surface. Oops, actually I did scratch the surface and then some! Fortunately we have had a lot of rain in my area and the digging is easy. Just had 4" plus in the last 5 days. Been sneaking out between storms though. Downside, some very soggy knees but well worth it.

You did well,my friend! Don't you just love those old church sites?!Keep us posted on future finds.Looks like you've got a REAL good spot there.

You are doing real good. Keep the pics coming <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">.
