Kevin,There are lots of playgrounds all over that county. If you can make it to a library or the court house you can get a lot of information to start with. You are in a very good county, lots of old travel routes, don't pass them up.Two really good sites are.Old school buildings and any covered bridges(they used to call them LOVER's BRIDGES).You can locate old chuches ,they always had festivals, ball games etc.People dressed up so you may find some nice GOLD in the areas.Another good tip is: If you locate a site or told about one like a church or school, pulbic building that may or may not be still be there try to get the location. Now the good part and I have used it a lot.FIND A FREE SITE ON YOUR PC THAT SHOWS ARIAL MAPS.IF IT IS GROWN UP WITH JUST WEEDS AND GRASS you will be able to see an outline if there was a ballfied there. That makes it nice, you know where homeplate,1st,2nd,3rd.are.Walk around the base path, then the 2 sidelines.Hope these tips helped.like I said you are in a good county and could detect there all you life and find good things.
GOOD HUNTING
