Everything that I have read about mono and double-D coils says that the mono has somewhat greater depth, but that the coverage patern of the mono is conical. So at the depth where the mono exceeds the Double-D, the area of the detection zone is very small, requiring extensive overlap to cover the ground. What are your comments on this.
