Hope to get caught up in the next few days. I think of and pray for y'all often! Loren is slowly, but surely getting better. Her pain is lessening and she is starting to speak again and flash us a smile every so often. It has been so rough...on everyone. If I had known how rough this would be on her, I don't know if I could have made her have the surgery. I guess it's a good thing I didn't know...cause she needed it. It's hard to keep a Five year old calm when they are in such pain they are shaking:( Crying and coughing increases the risk of bleeding, so sometimes we feel like we are walking a tightrope. Praise God, no bleeding so far. We should be outta danger in about 10 more days. Travis and I seem to have picked some kind of bug up at the hospital and have been dealing with that as well. Due to having a sick chick, I have been doing laundry and dishes like crazy. A couple days ago, our drains started bubbling and not moving water. Someone is coming today to look at our septic system and hopefully, it just needs to be pumped. I cannot fathom having to deal with having a new system put in right now. I haven't been able to do laundry, run my dishwasher or the like for two days now :( There's more, but it's just too dang depressing to type...lol. Anyways, I am looking forward to getting caught up on the forum and "see" what everyone has been into!
 
Glad she is doing better will continue to pray for her,I understand about decisions for the best things to do for our kids my son at age 2 had to have open heart surgery to repair a hole in his heart and now he is 14 and that was the toughest thing I ever had to do, just hang in there everything will be ok God Bless,HHH
 
Glad to hear Loren is doing better but sad to hear the two of you are semi-sick. Hope you're all better soon. God bless you this Christmas and always. :detecting:
 
satan is trying to take your mind off CHRISTmas by giving you problems but don't let him...just trust in Jesus and all will work out in time...He doesn't take away the trials and problems but He will be with us through them so we can endure and overcome all things! I am having a very difficult time this year in overcoming the holidays but I always get through them with Jesus, for I am never alone when I lean on and trust in Him! Amen! :angel: Ma Betty

Lol, Mike. Of course, he has it under control!!! Everything that's happened has been a lesson learned and things could always be worse! We are all still together and slowly getting better :)
