where you have to have the lights on during the day. It really sucks and I'm about to go nuts with cabin fever. Wish I was able to load up and boogie down south like I used to but those days are gone forever. I'm going to start doing a dance and a chant to the Sun God soon. Hope ya'alls weather ain't as bad and dismal as it is here. According to the weather guy we got a lot more coming. I may just mildew and mold away into nothingness. HA.

Hang in there UW! Sunshine is a comin! (at least I hope so), We finally had a beauitiful day after a whole month of cloudy snowy cold days. It was even in the low 40's! So, hang in there, I am trying to send some your way!:garrett:

Hey, look on the bright side:biggrin:Just think of the better signals you'll be gettin' with the ground being wet.:wiggle:Easier diggin', too!:detecting:I bet you'll really clean up after the sun comes out. Happy Hunting!:)

I hear ya Bill, me and my girl thinking of going to AZ for Febuary..hang out on BLM for a month. Maybe Quartzite.
Sorry about your wife having MS...my mom has it too and just 5 months ago lost her ability to walk....bad friggin disease man. Just stinks watching someone fade away like that.

Sorry about your Ma. I feel for her. It's an insidious disease. My wife has been a full quadriplegic and in a hospital bed 24/7 for some years now. I wish the best for your Ma but it is a progressive disease. What, if anything, is she taking for it? Is she on any form of injectable steroids yet? You might have her try bee sting therapy. It has reversed the disease for many. It worked for my wife for quite a long time but the MS finally won out. I still use bee venom to rub on her hands and arms to stop them from becoming totally useless. In the early stage that your Ma is in the bee treatment may get her back on her feet.

Yep she's doing the injectable steroids or radiation, cant remember which. It's $10,000 a month so I think it is an experimental thing. There goes all there savings...! I'll tell her about the bee venom thing, just horrible to see what MS does, thanks Bill.

Speaking of the weather. I've only just gone back to work today after a forced 2 week holiday (Had 2 weeks off before that 2, but my choice) The firstof those weeks we were shut down because of flood and the second week off was because of drought. Go figure.
Mick Evans.

If she's on a fixed income and it's low enough she can get the steroids for free through NORD Corporation otherwise it's $900 for a little tiny vial. It used to be $25 a vial and less until some new company took over the manufacture of it and jacked the price up.. At your mom's early stage the bee stings would probably do the trick. See if the steroids she is on is called ACTHAR GEL.
