Rebooting an Explorer..

Dan-Pa.

New member
We all know the Explorer is a mini computer of sorts..Last night out of the blue my Explorer XS made a funny sound and the screen would show the first part when turned on and then turned off.Luckily I played with it cleaned the battery connections and as a last resort just held the button in until it went back to quickstart amd lo and behold it was back to normal and easily put my advnced settings in.
Anyone know if there is an official way to reboot the Expl. computer as perhaps I was just lucky..appreciate any input.
I do know the XLT had specific procedures to reboot that unit and therefore does the Explorer have something of the same nature...

Seems like somewhere along the way I read that and it worked so can't argue with success..I believe Bob is referring to an XLT as thats the way it was rebooted...but sure apprciate the input///
