found last week,i narrowed it down to maybe a british half penny or a conneticut state coin from late 1700S i found it only 4 inches deep near a stone wall and a sink hole.sorry about the crummy pics i had to use tin foil to show the little detail there is.the coin was heavily used but not corroded at all.the back side of the coin is britannia seated with an olive branch and the front is a face looking left but it doesnt match any of the pics of these coins i have found,so i guess its stays a mystery
