found this last week looks like a british half penny or a connecticut state coin from late 1700s,i had to use tin foil to bring out the little detail left in the coin.it has britannia seated with and olive branch and a man facing left on the flip side,i have not found a exact match on it yet.
 
Looks like it might be a Connecticut copper from the late 1700's. There several varieties of those years. Look at

Yes, I think it is a British half penny, Georgius (King George) II, 1730s40s, that era. I'll see if I can find a pic of one.
 
Here's a scan, not a great one, but you can see the outline of everything, what do you think? Notice there are 2 busts.
 
i still cant tell because it is worn,but the biggest hint is the bottom of the shoulder where the shoulders ends,it is cut off in a strait line heading down to the left and not arched or convex like some of the pics on the net,but it does look like a close match to the pics luki nj posted of the 1739 larger britannia lady,and george on the front with strait cut of shoulders.i really had no idea when i found it that it was this old,thanks for the help guys.
