I just read Mike Moutrays post, 100 seated dimes! WOW thats incredible.
This black stained beauty represents #3 lifetime for me. At this rate I'll have to live to 160 yrs to get to 100.

Living close to the boarder gets me a fair share of Canadian coinage, But nothing as big or as old as this half, It's a cool looking hunk of silver.

Wow, cool finds. That half dollar is worth some $$ for sure. Do you live on the Canadian or U.S. side?

I live close to the border as well, I really enjoy finding a nice mix of U.S. and Canadian coins...you never know what's going to come up! It's funny, my first and only half dollar so far is also a 1902....but it's a Barber.

Nice coins Chip !! I've always liked Canadian coins but I don't find them often in Ct. I was excited about two years ago when I found a Victorian fishscale - my first.
About a month before that my hunting buddy got a funky reading and pulled a fishscale out. When he rechecked the plug there was a flying eagle cent higher
up inside the plug - it had been OVER the fishscale.
I'd be proud of that Edwardian half too !!

Very nice seated coin, and I like the Canadian half! I found a 1900 10c this spring in a dime roll. Sure do love those silver Canadians. amc
