Hey All,
Finally got the camera back so time for a little post and boast. On the left is the 1917 Type I I found a little while back. Took the picture of it along with a 1917-D Type II I found last year. These are by far my nicest SLQs. Found a 1925 (recessed date type) also this year but most of the rest are worn flat without a readable date.
Right side is second Walker 44-S and second LC 1852 for the year.
It is already too dry to dig around here without damaging lawns. Doesn't look like I will get any close to last year's finds. But that is ok. Have a honey-do list a mile and a half long.
Chris

The ground sure does a good job of caring for its silver coins. Immagine how bad they would look if they had been in circulation all this time. And that large cent -WOW!- I bet you've wondered yourself how it managed to hold up that well lying outside for 150 years!

sorry about that I hit the post button
Great quarters I have one 1917 std lib but the date is worn off.

..they are both great but the plain 17 is super nice. You can see all the rivits in the shield. Plus I think its a type 1 variety. It also looks like there is no mail to cover up the boob on yours. Super nice coin. Congrats on those.

Chris, Them are some of the nicest coins I have everseen !!! CONGRATS!!!!! jp
