Hi all, been awhile since my last post but havent found anything exciting worth posting other then the usual clad coins. My friend Dave and I went to a old house that has been empty for bout a year now and is going to be torn down to do abit of hunting. I'm letting Dave use my 500 and he loves it....better then the old Whites 1970's something coin master he was using he loves the pinpointing ability. So here we are hunting for awhile, Dave found a little metal car small with the real thin hard rubber tires Circa 1960's I'm thinking, some clad, a old 30-06 casing, a whopper of a old nail (that is one loooonggg nail) and a few more trinkets I cant remember at the moment. The lil car he found is pretty cool. I got a old square head nail, some onimental top that you hang from a post or tree limb (kinda weird looking) and a handful of change. The best of the finds were a 1951 wheatie and a 1917 Mercury Dime that other then some tarnishing on the front is in really good shape. I got that from the driveway which unfortunatly is the hard packed gravel drive that ya need a hammer and chisel to dig through so there are a few light scratches from the gravel when I dug it up But other then that all the features are sharp and clear. I'm thinking they lost it not to long after it was minted. I dont have the camera from the shop but if I can get it again we will post some pics.
Dave likes the green machine and is looking forward to being the proud new owner of a 1500 soon.
