Red Racer not turning on ?

Red racer was working perfect when put away last fall without batteries in it. Now will not turn on with fresh duracell's or other New batteries...any ideas ? Machine has had little use since bought 2 years ago. Love this machine!
 
Check those batteries and terminals again, and do you have a battery checker, to be sure they will put out under load. Is there a power-on reset feature of the machine? Try to power on push and hold the power on button for 10 seconds, or ?? Is the coil cable connection good? Maybe try removing the coil and re-connecting. If not, call tech support.
