Went back again and found a few more targets. Very
scarce but with the sens. at 12 in the AM mode, was
able to get a few more good ones. HH Richardntn

Very nice finds there Richard. The Garretts seem to really lock on nicely on lead mini- balls, musket balls etc. Nice photo too! <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

Hi,
Where does Lead ID on the 2500 ? I have no relic experience, I found a french/indian war area that might be good. any help would be appreciated.

in the "rings/gold" area of the ID. Anything that
jumps around from iron to that area is usually
iron. If it jumps from the center to the extreme
right, it is usually a non-ferrous target. I
am stilled surprised at the depth of the stock
coil and AM mode. I am getting good targets that
0 (zero) discriminate will not touch, with the
sens. at 12. AND the AM ID is very, very good
at that depth too.
BTW, any target that locks on the in center portion
of the meter, is almost always a drop. Richardntn

a "bump" in the audio(no ID) but I dug it anyway because
I had pulled out 3 .58's in that area that last
2 times I went. Another factor, is that this is
a red clay/red clay mix soil, that I am hunting in.
Usually detrimental. Richardntn
