Relic

Hello all, went detecting 3 days ago and found this interesting relic of a lead plate that has been etched into. It seems to be one half of the full plate found, so I'm planning to go back to the site in the next few days to try to find the other half! Anyway, the pic depicts two horse shoes in both corners, and a guy sitting on a fence in the background. The centre etching seem to be of a man, possibly of a farmer, it's a bit hard to tell. But this relic was found on grazing land for cattle and sheep. The relic measures as you see it in the photo: 4.5cm across x 4.5cm top to bottom, as is roughly 3 milimetres in depth. I wonder what it was attached to.
