Found out map from 1883 and at the bottom on the attached map is a toll house. The road makes a right turn by the Ohio River. I found the spot where the Toll house was and after a hour I hit the 1868 Indian Head in great condition.
It is fully readble with no wear. It is in Olive oil and will be photograped tomorrow. I belive it will be worth 40-50 dollars. Research payed off. My buddy pulled a 1937 merc at the same site. People knock on doors nd get permission to hunt the sites that history has forgotton. Many will say no but enough will say yes.

I think it is better to show the story how I found the item then just the item. You can search maps and download them fr free at

Search newspaper articles.

I found an article from 140 years ago about the tolls collected and them went to the map area and found the toll booth. Just some ideas to help others. The search engines are free no bull.
