Went to another area, that I had not been to in a while. It looked like war zone, with open holes. Now this is only speculation, but I believe our old salt local did this. Have seen him leaving open holes before, this was by far the worst, but I did not realize he was stupid too. Left the target laying by the hole! So, me being the good samaritan pirate that I am, filled the holes, as I came across them and of course picked up the old fart's trash too and checked to make sure he did not miss anything. He did miss a few! Will definitely interview him about this, next time afield! Will probably get the finger, if I know him! Sorry, got off on a tangent here!

Ran the GQA2 all evening and was in the water at 7P into a 754P 1.3L, but the tide was still well below normal, due to the NW winds at 15-20. Conditions were still terribly sanded and there were very few targets in the water, but found some on the wet sand. Total clad count was $1.24 and got a copper band. Baled at 915P, from this location.

Was back in the water at the last location, from the previous night at 930P and got back to work. Targets were few and far between. I rechecked my areas from the night before and they were still clean, not even a whisper. Total clad count here, a staggering $.13, that's 13 cents total count folks! Recovered a large non-ferrous hoop. I did get a little prize though. It is unmarked and looks to be a stainless spinner ring, w/stars. Was hoping for white gold or silver, but no bueno! Baled at 1115P
Went again on 10/24 to another location and there had been another norther just pass that afternoon. Winds were howling NE 20-25, into a 853P 1.6L. Worked this location from 630P-1015P and got $1.21 and some more lead. Took tonight off. May go tomorrow. No gold since 10-20, I'm HUNGRY!
