Detected 1 1/2 hours at the river late this afternoon

I 'm getting to love dirt digging!

The coins were not so deep; and in much better condition than the "salted" ones from the ocean

In one hole, I was surprised ..I had picked a quarter out of the hole and was ready to recap the half circle of grass when I saw a dime imbedded in that clump of underside dirt!

And in another spot..there were three coins!

Had a great time.. will be going back the asap.

Hank also hunted ..he found an old buckle ( cleaning it now) and some kind of trapezoid shaped metal...will post pics of his finds later.

Your doing good on the coin finds and I always like the coin spills, too! One time in a county park near where I live, I found several quarters stacked up under the dirt, as though they were a roll of quarters! I guess they were for the playing of horseshoes! It was really wierd but I was happy!

God Bless!
