Revolutionary Boat in Smithsonian....

Here's some pics of a great display that has it own room in the Smithsonian. There's a hole in the side from the British cannonball that sunk it (which they have too). I think it's the only US boat from the war in existence & called "the Philadelphia" from 1776.....
 
GREAT PICTURES, Bill!! Man, you could sure fall overboard easily in rough seas! I really enjoyed the Belt Plate Pictures also. I'm going to have to make a point to spend a day in the Smithsonian Museum, next time I go to Wash.DC. for one of my reunions. HH,
