Starting the year off right. Found my third and fourth rings of the year this week. Went to the biggest soccer complex I have ever seen this week. There must be at least 40 to 50 soccer fields in this sports complex. We never hut the fields, just on the edges of the fields. Lots of clad. My first ring was what we call a Cracker Jack ring. Pot metal with cheap gold plating. We hunted for about 2.5 hours. Got $5.00 in clad a James Monroe token and a couple of AYSO tokens.
We went back to our local soccer complex today to hunt. I swear this has to be the 1000th time I have hunted this facility. About 5 minutes into the hunt I hit a solid 67 both ways. This usually means a penny or a bottle cap. Out pops a tungsten ring. A big one, weighs 8 grams. Finished the I hour hunt with $2.25 in clad, a ring, a fancy silver key, a house key and another AYSO Soccer token. All in all a very nice day, hunting with my hunting partner L.J. He is 84 and gets around as good as I do. Been my hunting buddy for 5 years. We always have a good time, it's friendly competition. If you want to increase your fun, find a good hunting buddy.
