Rusted crowns caps and the T2

Arturo de Zorro

New member
My friend let me use his T2 for the weekend because he has to work, so an hour ago I started playing with it in the house and I notice the old rusted crown cap sound off at 81 to 84 high tone. Is there another way to discriminate the crown caps? where I hunt there are millions of them. If it don't rain tomorrow I will take this dog for a hunt, should be in the high 40's here in San Antonio.

Hi Arturo,

I dug a lot of deep crown caps today. See my post to Old California a little ways down from this post. I'll be trying Mike Hills method the next time out.
