Sad Day

colt

New member
To day is a sad day, this afternoon I had to put my buddy down. Her name was sissy and she was a 14 year old black lab, I know it sounds silly to morn over a dog, but she was part of our family and a loyal hunting buddy.

Hi colt,

My heart is with you. I lost four furry friends over the last two years. My wife and I got the pack all about the same time, and over ten years later paid the price when they all passed on.

You truly have my sympathy. The best you can say is that it really hurts.

God bless you in this difficult time.

I appreciate all of the kind words, sorry for posting a non PI topic on this forum, I was just down the day I had to put my puppy down and needed to express my sad feelings.

It's the only bad part of having a dog...We generally outlive them:sadwalk:As I write my 13 yr. old lab, Bear is laying at my feet...Best friend a person could ask for....It troubles me because I know that very soon I'll probably be faced with the same awful task. My last dog, a Chesapeake, Oh what to hell....All the dogs I've had the pleasure of sharing life with, have been the loyalest & most faithful of companions a person could ask for & they are all missed... Frisky, Bill, Sam, Rastas, lady, Susie...Sorry for your loss...TT
