Safari coin "Air Test"

I tried a little air test with a bunch of coins

Sens set at 4...noise cancelled Safari

This is a "Meter" reading test not depth test.

20 Clad Quarters.. All read 38 on meter
20 pennies
Year dates.......... 83,87,93,94,95,99,2000,07,08 All read 34 on the meter

20 Wheat cents from 1934 through 1958 Different readings 35/36 mostly 36..though a fair amount of 35 readings

Dimes (25) all read 37

20 Pennies.Year dates.. 59, 62,68,69,72,73,75,79,80,82 These pennies read 37 on the meter

All coins readings posted were solid and did not vary in the reading even at max amount of air space between coil and max depth at sens set at 4.

So watch the meter and you will get more pennies if your so inclined. Dig all targets 34 to 38 and 32/34 if your in Indian territory though I suspect they read everywhere..I will do an Indian test next and post it up..

Thanks for posting that, was wondering why so many pennies I find ring in at either 37 or 34, i always think its a dime. I'm thinking about scrimming out 28 and 29 as I haven't found anything but junk on those #'s.
