Hello everybody. I decided to use A Safari this year, Like most of us I've tried many detectors but I never stuck with my soveirgn or explorer mostly because a lot of my hunting is in heavy square nail concentrations and I didn't like the nulling. I love this safari after just a couple of hours. I went over a couple of our favorite sites whiich of course have been pounded and pulled out a few keepers including my first bust half dime and a beautiful war of 1812 button. I'll try to download some pictures if I can figure out how to lower the pixels. Thank you findmall for allowing me the priviledge Of posting on your forum, good luck to all, Darryl.

Sweet finds. Would love to find a half dime. I really like the Safari as well. Has been super easy to learn and am finding silver in sites that I have previously hunted.

Keep posting the finds.

Hi Bart, I was using all metal, fast with manual sensitivity between 12 and 16 depending on the amount of iron, I'm really able to hear the difference from a square nail and a square nail with say a button. Also I have a lot of hot rocks when this was a problem I knocked out 40. I tried conductive for a while, between the nails and the hot rocks the falses were numerous I found ferrous really cuts down on the false signals. In a couple of weeks I'll give another impression of this wonderful machine, good bye, Darryl

Great finds I have never found a half dime(would like to) !!! I think I'll give those settings a whirl. Thanks for posting the pics. Ron
