I've got a safari with 11 inch pro coil for trade. Ideally with someone within driving distance of dothan Alabama.. I hunt really trashy areas and the safari with stock coil is not very good at this. it is a deep machine made in Ireland..it has a couple of scratches but works well..will send pics if interested..not looking for any specific brand..open to any trades..

No. Not on the safari..I just can't like the FBS machines.. I've owned two explorers and this safari and just can't get used to it.I know they are good detectors.I used a sovereign for years (Xs2A) and wanted another one but couldn't find one so I bought the safari used.I've got a classic ID with a 6in coil but its single tone and that gets old looking at the meter constantly..

Well I am going to try a small coil for a couple trips and see how it works out...thanks to everyone for the offers and advice..I will let you know when and if I decide to trade after I try the small coil..if anyone has an 8 in FBS coil I would possibly trade my 11 in pro coil for it...thanks again.

If you trade that pro coil you might as well cut your Safari value in half
I am ready to trade the safari..now comes with 6 inch excelerator eq2 pro DD coil...have pics. Foam handgrip needs replacing. .I had it wrapped with tape but when I removed it for pics it pulled foam off..I think the sports wrap is the way to go from walmart..anyway the machine is not perfect has a couple of scratches.it's not beat to death either Has a small dent in screen ..tried to take a pic of it but you have to hold it just right in the light to see it..you don't see it detecting..I will send pics to whoever is interested..looking for an at pro but am open to anything . Just let me know. Thanks..I'm in dothan alabama .
Trust me when I say this, I have went through all the top high-end detectors and coils.Dont get me wrong every coil has its place,just go back and look on the selling forum here..And ask Richard at backwoodsdetectors Love. That guy top shelf all the way,Think it was the detectors that wasn't producing because of the trash sites I hunted,,,NOPE, it was me,,,,

I'm giving you the same advice that was given to me after spending thousands of dollars on metal detector. About a month ago I got a 1923 silver dollar that was on a site that I hunted several times.

Im used to hunting with a sovereign..I too have owned just about every detector made..I just have my likes and dislikes and I just don't like the FBS machines.. I know they work but I like the sovereign the best..the safari was like the explorers that I owned..just different I guess..no I didn't get rid of the 11 inch coil. It still comes with it along with the 6 in. I'm not getting rid of it cause I can't find stuff with it I'm getting rid of it cause I don't LIKE hunting with it..I have 6 other detectors that I use depending on where I hunt. .. ..I personally belive that a small coil is essential with any detector if you hunt trashy areas..
