Wow, That Safari is starting to fill my goodie box up. Still using Coin-Beach mode, but modified +13,14,15 and +37,38 There is a lot if trash on this beach. but that darn Safari will hit a good target in the middle of several pieces of trash. the 925 ring read +38. and was about 3 inches down. and near it was a old rusted bottle cap,and two pull tabs. I got the trash readings but the reading keep going back to +38 so I knew something good was lurking with the junk. Plus I us the cross load by Andy that someone posted and it makes all non ferrus target a high sound. quarters and silver are a real high pitch sound. Works great for me. Happy hunting all, Gene

Nice little ring there, Gene!! Boy, the Safari is starting to rack up some points between the various users here!!

Gene,

I took the Safari back out to the beach yesterday afternoon. I used your modified suggestions as you posted. I found quite a bit of clad but no rings. I did find an Adventure Lading token. I think I have about six now. Pretty soon I can go and play a free game. The Safari worked great as usuall. The beach does not bother her at all. I left the sensitivity on auto and let her run. If there had been a ring on the beach she would have found it. I am starting to enjoy the beach quite a bit. It's a very relaxing and visual pleasing place.

Gene that is a great looking ring. I can tell you will fill those coffers up with goodies this summer.
I am using coin/jewelry mode -10 to +7 rejected for the last 2 days. Fantastic detecting Gene...
Dale now you know why I am so excited about using the Safari on the beach. It is a perfect detector for me because I only do beaches. My arms, hands and legs are sore from all the digging that I have been doing. I am not used to digging that deep.
Thanks for sharing all of you, because you guys keep me going out there even with all the sore joints and muscles.:detecting: Thanks again.... Jerry/Z

So what is the scret to setting Safari up to detect only Diamonds????

He He...

Great Find.... Some Lady was very very unhappy...

You and the machine seem to be getting along just fine!!! Very nice ring ! Going out to some old parks with my wife on Monday. Ron :detecting:

Ok you guys I don't care what you I am not going to invite my wife to come metal detecting with me. I do not want to hear. "And another thing", "And I told you so." That is final, I think???
Ed, don't you mention anything about diamonds to my wife. She will want me to run in the diamond mode all the time. I won't even find enough money to stop at the liquor store on the way home. :beers:
Oh sure Ron, you must have been at the tavern a few nights ago when I lost the arm wrestling contest with the 103 year old man. On his birthday. I am contesting the results because he has been using his walker to pump up his arms for 20 years now. And I think that is unfair....Z
