Safari recovery Speed?

Is the Safari's recovery speed about the same as the SE Explorer's? If not, is there much difference?

Just bought a new Safari to replace my Quattro but after taking it to the park i found out its just as slow as the Quattro , possibly a little faster recovery speed but still have to swing very slow.. The SE recovers much faster ........
 
Thanks for that. I might head for the SE. It sounds a bit like my XS Explorer. I talked to Minelab yesterday, and they indicated that the SE isn't on the shelf for sale in Australia (which annoys me a bit). Most dealers here think that it's not in production anymore.
