SAFARI VS. QUATTRO:confused:

Bill
Don't own a Quatro, but after a little research before I bought my Safari, it seems the Safari is a revamped and user friendly Quatro. Less user adjustments that can get confusing.
From what I have read, the Safari is quicker to recover. I can say that I am completely satisfied with my Safari.

Follow this link and maybe it will answer some questions. http://www.kellycodetectors.com/compare/?a=94

Good luck

Tony

Colour + 11" pro coil, connect the pro coil to a Quattro and you got yourself a Safari IMO nothing to choose between both of them. Excellent switch on and go detectors, and yes I have used the Quattro and the Safari and love them.
I don't see any book on Mastering the Safari because Mastering the Quattro covers both models.

So are you saying the 11" pro coil hooked up to the quattro will upgrade the quattro?

The 11" Pro Coil is a big improvement over the Stock Coil that came with the Quattro, thats why it comes as standard with all top end Explorers and the E trac. What I am saying is that using the Pro Coil on both the Quattro and the Safari
I found that both machines were equal in performance.

Thanks for the info i will search for one now.

Safari has a slightly faster recovery than the quatro, and resined tuning, other than that the pro coil which is very good.
