Safari vs Quattro

What was the downside of the Quattro compared to the Safari?

From what I hear, a slower recovery speed.

I have a Quattro and a Safari and there is not a lot of difference between them.The start up time is a couple of
seconds slower on the Quattro but they both perform the same.I know everyone says that the Safari has a
faster processor speed but I find that if it does it is not a lot faster than the Quattro.They are both great
machines and will find stuff at some great depths. Gary

The stock coil on a Quattro is not quite as deep, nor has the separation abilities of 11" Pro coil that the Safari comes standard with. Though the Pro coil will work on the Quattro too...
