Safari VS T2

Dig It

New member
I currently have a T2 and was wondering if any one has owned a T2 and now uses a Safari? I have been thinking about selling the T2 and adding some money and buying a Safari. Please give your opinion.

Don't have a T2, but did own an F75 for a couple of years before I bought a Safari (with money from jewelry I sold from F75 finds). I still have the F75 and the Safari and use both. They are very different but both great. My advice would be to keep the T2 and get a Safari too. The main reason for getting the Safari was to hunt in west coast wet sand at the beach, and it runs smooth and deep. In areas with high EMI that really bother the F75, the Safari runs much quieter.

Good luck with your decision.

I agree with hanging onto your T2, especially if you don't have a back up detector. I would wait for more posts and pros/cons before making a decision. The last thing you want to do to yourself is have regrets and a lot of what ifs. Just my humble input.
