Sanborn Maps

A few weeks back there was a post about Sanborn maps. I got on it several times and loved it, very detailed info. Unfortunatly, the user name (sanborn) and pass (welcome) no longer works. Does anyone out there know of any other user name/passwords that'll get me on?

To bad we have to work so hard to get to these maps when they used to be accessed freely. They were very useful. I can get access to a very few by accessing our county website and look in historical maps. I don't know if all of you out there can access their respective county websites but you might get to see a few that they have if they have them. I have been told that the libraries have the full access to these but I think that is a rumor. You might check the colleges as well (rumor again)

Not a rumor! My library system has online access (you need a library card!) so you can look them up from the comfort of your own home!

Awwh man!:veryangry:That really blows that that password doesn't work anymore.:ranting: I know that you can access them at libraries, but I didn't know that the library gives you access at home. If I can get the new password I'll post it for everybody.

Well that is a good tid bit of info! Thanks and here all this time I could have viewed them from my own PC. I have a library card and if you have an up to date library system you can order books to be held for you and extend your book for another time limit all from your home PC (if you have a card).

Now if I can just get the printer to work maybe I could copy a few interesting maps!!!!

Thanks Garrettguy!
