sand shark

I used mine in some freshwater swimming lakes last year and did get out far enough to get out of the sanded areas.
The bottom was rocky and clay and hard digging.
I haven't searched many areas with a muddy bottom, but usually this area has alot of vegetation that gets hung up in the coil and shaft from my limited experience.

You will be digging every small piece of metal out of that bottom. But i bet if you have the patience you will do good with it.Try it out.Just have a lot of patience and work one small spot at a time.I want to get a sand shark myself.Good luck to you. :-D

I have only used mine on sandy bottom lake, might get a lot of clouding of the water from stirring up the mud. Great detector, picks up everything.
