I could'nt believe it either...I also found two saber tips (trying to find out more about them) and a I buttons (two others I found down the street), a 1893 Barber Dime and 4 IH (1883, 1887, 1902 and 1903), 1918 Wheaty and a Alabama 5 cent Luxury tax token.
