Schools: Where is a good place to start Hunting With Xterra 70?

Aong sidewalks leading to doors. Bus loading areas. The side of trees that provide afternoon shade.
Where would you go if you were a kid there? Behind the backstops at baseball diamonds. Along the sidelines of any playing fields. Under and around any bleacher seats. Around anywhere that there is a gate.
Just don't dig up the playing fields and you'll be fine. Schools are great because kids lose a lot of stuff, bottlecaps are few, canslaw is sparse, and occasionally you even run into an interested kid or two that aren't nusances that you can educate.

I dont have a lot of experience with my 705 yet but I am working on it. I have hit a few schools and had good luck with clad and not a lot of junk. I am a network coordinator for a school district. If you locate the head custodian (I mean the head guy for the didtrict not the head custodian at the school) and explain what you are doing they usually wont mind if you detect in the play grounds. Just fill your holes. Also if it is anything like here in Montana the districts own a LOT of land out of town called land trusts. And maybe you could get as lucky as we are and have some land trust that use to be a old stage coach stop area to detect. Also people donate land to districts and some of our donated land has old home steads. Good luck. Hope I helped a little

If it is an old school I like to find out where thay use to take class pictures an hunt there also. Back years ago alot of class pictures where took outside right in front of the school.
