Scoop recommendation for mud bottom lake hunting.

Dan(NM)

I need to get a couple of opinions for a quality scoop that works well on fresh water, mud bottom lake hunting. The mud isn't all that hard and compact, but, trying to use a shovel isn't cutting it. What do you lake hunters recommend, thanks!!

Any long handled scoop should do, but I get mine from John Volek in Houston TX.
In muddy bottoms I like to dump the contents in a floating plastic sifter vs trying to sift the muck out of the scoop holes. I then use a pinpointer, retrieve the target and dump the sifter.
Best of luck to you!

When hunting a lake with tough clay like bottom, I use my Stealth 720. The pointed nose really cuts through the mud and clay.
