Called Garrett around 4 pm eastern time Friday 11/12/10. Monday 11/15/10 4 pm eastern time mail man gave me the new nob. Now that was fast. I would like to say that is my fault I lost that depth nob in the first place. I knew it needed to be tight and should have took it off when I got done before walking back to the car. Like all tools I will do more in the way of just cleaning after use. I will inspect before and after use from now on. GET A GARRETT! Dig'em All
 
Garrett has excellent customer service, and has for years. That's one of ther reasons I have been using them for about 20 years...
