Portable battery charger and back up battery. Works like factory aa feild back up charger for 20$. Its black matt finish like detector. Just an idea if u dont have back up charget. 5V/1200mAh factory charger is 5v/1000mAh......jeremi in bama
 
Once again i wish i could send pics. I have tested emergency in field charge snd it works perfect. Has a switch on the side selecting 5.0v or 5.5 v....select 5.0v as it is exaxtly as factory charger..........u can probably Google the charger to see what it looks like. Gives 60% charge in 30 min on coil!!!!
 
If the charger isn't exactly like the factory one, it can overheat the batteries and dramatically shorten their life.

Also, for best battery life, let the detector sit for about 15 minutes in 'off' before recharging.
 
Its voltage and mAh are identical. Thats the main thing. Those have to be identical.
