Took the SE out for a walk couple of weeks back and amnaged this lovely Alexander III 1249-1286 first coinage voided long cross silver penny.. IOHAN on BERWICK are the mint and moneyer..Last thing i expected from the kind of land we were on but very pleased as not had one of these types before :twodetecting:
