screen cover for an F70/F75-type machine?

Hi all.

The plastic face plate on my F70 seems to be made of a flimsy clear plastic, that seems like it would be prone to scratching. Has anyone found anything to apply to this screen to protect it, and yet that won't make the LCD readout difficult to see?

Thanks,

Steve

Palm screen protectors, staples stores carry them.----Walmart has a screen protector they sell also but I didn't like them as well.

Hey Steve, let us know what you discover on this subject...I can tell you that when the sun hits that faceplate at the right angle, it acts like a mirror and blinds a guy with the reflection. I even noticed I subconsciously started to work soccer fields in patterns so this would not occur...So yes, it needs some sort of protective or screen sheild anti reflective cover..maybe like the ones they make for computers would work, like those privacy stick on laptop screen sheilds? A guy could cut them into enough for 5 F70s...Hmmm. I'll go buy one, and start a business! R&D baby.

Steve-----It's an anti-glare sheet that comes in a packet of several sheets.---You can trim them & apply them over/on your screen.---They "self adhere" & you can take them back off without leaving residue.----It's been discussed on the forums here several times.---Some of us use them on our Explorers/Etracs to help with the glare issue.---You can cut them to fit any detector screen.---I like the ones Staples sells the best as they stick to the screen better.----When you apply them to the screen, you have to be careful to "smooth out" the bubbles as they are being applied.----The different ones I have tried do help but still don't solve the problem completely (in bright sunlight).--------Del
