Screen protector?

Anyone ever use a phone or tablet style screen protector cut to fit on A F2 display window only?

I put one of the universal types on my Omega, that have the grid on it so you can get a measurement before you cut. It works great and doesn't hinder the view in any way. I had done that in the past with a BH Platinum. When I went to sell it, I peeled it off and it looked like new.

Bought a pree-cut one for an e-trac, if memory serves me, it was non-glare....worked great. The company name started with a Z and ended with g.

Unfortunately they don't make a precut one for the F5 that Steve O speaks of but Wally World does carry the one for the I pad so I precut one for my large F5 screen and works like a charm. Matter of fact big enough so your buddy can do his screen also. Actually cuts the glare and this screen is not going to get scratched.

Try a zip lock bag, fits over the unit like a sock, and is easy to see and use buttons and it is rain proof, which the lay over plastic lens protectors are not. I was hunting some pretty wet park areas which also translates to mud, no my hand, gloves clothes and the F70 I have. Big muddy mess around my pinpoint button -- problem solved with a small zip lock bag, and you know, it does not look all that bad -- if you are style conscious -- I always carry a couple of these cheap baggies now for just such times and now we are moving into the rainy season --

My F75 came with covers......
No need to "make something work" with his unit
