Screen values for small gold coins?

Ray in WA

New member
Hi folks,

Soon I'll be taking a mini-vacation to an area where several old sierra mountain gold mining towns exist, and was wondering if anyone here has done any air tests on smaller gold coins? I realize these can vary in size, especially when one considers the ultra small California gold fractionals. It would be a hoot to find one of these. Anyhow, if anyone has done any air tests for these smaller gold coins I would appreciate it if you could post your results. It will at least give me a general idea as to what I should be looking for on my Safari screen.

Thanks ahead of time,

Ray

By the way, here's one of my latest silver coin finds...an 1895S Barber dime. Believe it or not, out of the dozens of silver coins that I have ever found, this happens to be my first 1800s silver as well as my first semi-key date silver coin.

HH,

Ray
